Nonus and the beach....

2 of Jude's favorite things! We went to visit Uncle Nathan and Aunt Carley today - and Gramma O. brought one of Jude's favorite treats! Donuts, otherwise known in our house as 'nonus'. Then we walked down to the lake, where the drizzle and cold didn't stop Jude from having fun with his buckets and cups. It was fun!

New sandbox....

Sans sand at the moment.....but ready and waiting. Now which grandma wants to figure out a canopy?? ;)

Please don't feed the birds....

Oops....didn't see that sign until all of our bunny crackers were gone. Oh well - Jude and the ducks (and a couple pigeons) were happy!  Jude greeted them with the trademark scream he does whenever he sees animals - and they weren't phased at all as long as the food kept coming.

 We had a fun day visiting Jenna in Boston.  Jude had his first rides on the T, and his first visit to Boston Common.  He had a blast chasing the ducks and looking at all the flowers, and proved he is already a huge flirt by showing off how he could hang on the chain fence for a cute 15 month old we met along the way.  It was a gorgeous day, and I was glad to get my city fix!

Ribfest!

In true Keener man style, Jude has discovered the joy of gnawing meat off a bone.  We went to Ribfest today, and after warming up with a few french fries and fried oreos, he decided that meat is pretty good after all.

Jude also had his first experience with clowns, and it seems that he hasn't inherited his parents phobia at this point.  He got a cool balloon bug, and took a train ride with mom.  He loved it so much we had to go again - but his friend Trey was not as big a fan!

Now we're home and Jude is having a nap....and I think I will join him.  Hope you had a nice weekend!
