Lots of rain + empty pool =

Lots of wet fun for Jude and Trey! Jude jumped right in our little pool that had been filled by the rain, clothes and all. You can see that after awhile, the pants started getting a bit weighed down! I love the little bumcrack shot. :)

Wedding weekend

This past weekend we were in the White Mtns to celebrate Nathan and Carley's wedding. The setting was absolutly gorgeous. We had our wedding duties Fri and Sat night, and spent some time Sat morning across the street at a swimming hole. The water was freezing, but Jude still had fun throwing rocks. I think most of you have seen the full link of pics, but here are a few of the highlights! Jude was a great little ringbearer (with a little steering).
There were also 2 Bernese Mountain dogs that lived there, Jude LOVED them. Here's a little video of him giving the big one a kiss....right before he threw up on him a little. oops.....

He was also a big fan of the 'singing' maple syrup. Trust the gay innkeepers to have maple syrup bottles that sing Patty Page!

Good times!

Baby Elton

Daddy brought an orphaned Disney Mr Potato Head home from work last night, and Jude has been fascinated with it all morning. He thinks the glasses are more fun to wear himself, though!

Firetrucks...

Last night kicked off our town fair, and I kept Jude up past his bedtime and went in for the firetruck parade. This isn't the best picture, because it was taken with my phone, but you can see how excited he was as he started to hear the sirens and know they were about to come down the street! He absolutely LOVED it, and of course, only waved to the trucks that had the pretty girls sitting in them. I would have thought all the excitement and the late night would have made him sleep a little longer - but he was still raring to go at 5:30 this morning. *yawn*

Keeping cool...

Hot again today, so we met Trey and Heather at the local pond to cool off. It grosses me out a little because there are tons of fish in it, and it smelled like cow poo there today - but that didn't stop Jude and Trey from having fun splashing around! It makes for good long naps, too, which we like!

Anywhere a cat can go....

After Jude discovered Zeke hanging out in the filing cabinet/end table drawer, he decided he needed to get in, too. He is still there now....20 min. later. Keeps climbing out through the side hole, then getting back in the top. Who needs toys?

Beach day!!

It's a billion degrees here today, so Jude and I took off early for North Hampton. It is a rocky beach, and he was in heaven picking up and collecting all the 'ra-ras'. We met his friend Bryce, who looks like he thinks the beach (and pretzels) is pretty cool!

Big boy haircut!!!

Still a handsome devil, and now I don't have to rip his hair out and make him cry de-snarling it after every bath. Daddy is sad to see the curls go, but they will be back! He was such a good boy during it, was happy spraying himself in the face with the hairdresser's water bottle, and trying to put the cut hair that fell off back onto his head.

Loving the new sandbox!

Thanks, daddy! Except now we need a shower every time we come in the house from outside......

Camping

Well, we survived our first family camping trip! Things started out a little dicey, as Maisie got in a fight with another dog when we got there (there were TONS of dogs) and had to be tied up the whole time, and Mama wasn't too psyched about peeing in the woods - but lucky for Nate, Jude seems to have inherited his love of the outdoors, animals, and grilled meats. Hope you all had a nice 4th!
