Meet our new addition....

currently named 'Chunky' but we are working on finding something much more appropriate for this dainty little sweetheart. She's 1.5, and we adopted her yesterday from the NHSPCA. We have 90 days to get a 2nd cat over a year old for free......hmmmmmm
After spending much of yesterday hiding under the couch, she is now out and her specialty seems to be leg weaving - which Jude finds hilarious. She's a cutie!

Charmingfare farm

So, I've heard of this place, and known it was really close to us - but I never realized that they even had some wild animals like bears, a camel, a cougar, and wolves. The wild animal part was kind of sad to me, but Jude LOVED the farm animals! He fed the 'loo-loo's' (llamas), and had a blast running around and screeching at the goats. I was not a fan of the giant hissing swans and ducks that chased us on the way out, but other than that, it was a fun spur of the moment afternoon outing!

Jude LOVES real babies (we have a couple friends with new ones) and since we'll have one in our house soon enough, I thought it'd be a good idea for him to have his own. After scouring 3 stores (it's hard to find a baby that is not PINK), we found 2 boy babies and he picked this one. He's been taking great care of him, feeding him his bottle and sharing his cheese. :) 'Baby' comes everywhere with us now.....

Parties.....

Jude topped off his big party weekend with a birthday party last Sunday just after our house started to empty out. It was the coolest party ever for a 1 yr old boy - tons of riding toys, and live animals! He wanted no part of a pony ride, though - just more trucks and lawn mowers, please.

Strictly business

Jude loves helping Dad mow the lawn...and as you can see, it's not fun at all, it's VERY serious business!
